Local Governing Body

The Local Governing Body (LGB) is responsible for the conduct of the school and for promoting high standards. It aims to ensure that children are attending a successful school which provides them with a good education and supports their wellbeing.. If you require a paper copy or more information on anything in this section please contact us.

Three core strategic functions of the LGB are:-

  • Setting the strategic direction of the school

  • Challenging and supporting the school in its educational performance

  • Overseeing the financial performance of the school, making sure its money is well-spent
