Parents and Carers.

MECA works in close partnership with parents and carers, and your support is welcomed and valued.

When your child is referred to us, you and your child will be invited to an induction meeting. This will give you the opportunity to meet with key members of staff, be introduced to the school environment and ask any questions you may have. As a parent/carer, you will then be invited to reviews addressing your child’s needs. Your child will also be a appointed a personal tutor, who will contact you on a regular basis, with updates on progress.

We value open, respectful communication with our families and know that, from time to time, questions or concerns may arise. Working together positively is the best way to support our pupils and resolve issues quickly and fairly.
